Sky Crawlers plane artwork - Rostock Suiga

I figured, somewhere in the future, I might draw some more Sky Crawlers stuff and, like I said in Lautern and Rostock´s artwork - [link] , Sky Crawlers has a relative lack of "proper" images to draw references from. So I figured I´d draw some up from pausing youtube vids. of walkthroughs of "Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces" for future personal use and then I thought I´d post some here, so more may be coming up.

Moving on, the Suiga actually has some decent images in wallpapers and such to draw references from, but, in visual terms, it´s one of my favourite Sky Crawlers planes, next to the Lautern TULIP and the Rostock Shougu (maybe because they feature relatively "standard" appearances when compared to planes like the FORTUNE or the Sanka), and I´ve always wanted to give it a go, so here it is. ^ ^

Perspective and dimensional problems are all over the place/plane, as usual, but I think I made it relatively decently comparable to the actual Suiga.

Name: Suiga

Operator: Rostock Air Force

Type: Fighter

Overview: Rostock´s primary fighter prior to the events of "The Sky Crawlers", the Suiga is a balanced, easy-to-fly fighter loved and trusted by all Rostock pilots who flew it. It´s tractor configuration grants great stability and plenty of playload room, making it suitable for various mission types, from dogfights and bomber interceptions to recon runs and air-to-ground attacks. Though it´s far from being the most dangerous plane in the sky, in the right hands, the Suiga is still a match for any Lautern pilot. After the events of "Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces", the Suiga was gradually phased out and replaced by the Sanka Mk. B as Rostock´s primary fighter plane.

Notes:

- The Suiga was the primary aircraft of every adult pilot in Cougar/Cheetah Squadron. Inversely, no Kildren of the same squadron is ever seen piloting a Suiga.

-In "Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces", the Suiga has two customized variants: Captain Yamasaki´s Suiga and Lieutenant Kaida´s.

- Though opinions vary, the Suiga is mostly compared to either an F2G Super Corsair or a blend between a Focke Wulf FW 190 and an F4U Corsair.
