Behold, I have returned! And I come bearing the final two pieces of Belka's vintage fantastic finger-four fighter formation, huzzah! :yay:

So, yeah, blah blah blah, been very busy, blah blah blah, so very busy, blah blah blah, life's an asshole, moving on.

So here, at long last, is the machine of Simon Heinreich, relative of Dimitri "Indigo 1" Heinreich, member of the Heinreich family and the pilot who in Draco Squadron represents the Soldier Style. A model pilot through and through, Simon puts obeying orders and following the rules above all else, as such his tactical suggestions to the player would mostly revolve around focusing on accomplishing mission objectives and adhering to orders given over the radio as closely as possible, neither taking the time to further punish beaten enemies nor help allies non-essential to the mission.
Simon is written as the most patriotic of the 4 Dracos, something that comes more to the forefront as the war drags on, and that coupled with his strictness in following orders means he's the most prepared to do the unsavory things one must do to win a war of the magnitude of the one he's fighting in if it means furthering Belka's chances for victory, even if it doesn't sit right with him personally - he won't blow up a civvy train station of his own volition, but he'll do it if ordered to.
Heinreich's disciplined and by-the-book demeanour bleeds into his flying in the sense that he's a master of the textbook maneuvers, which he's known to perform equal parts efficiently and gracefully, and flying in coordinated formations, but is rather poor at improvising on the spot when his rules and textbooks don't cover the situation at hand, something all three of his squadmates are more adept at... of course this is all fluff that wouldn't make a difference in gameplay (barring bits of radio banter). :D
As one might expect, Simon shares a pronounced rivalry with Michael Kellerman, as the two are very much each other's polar opposite. Michael constantly reminds Simon that rules and orders aren't absolute, that sometimes a pilot must go with his gut, and pokes fun at him being a cutup with no sense of humour, but, as the war goes on, he does gradually learn from him the virtues of working with his squadmates as a team. Meanwhile Simon is constantly annoyed by Michael's penchant for disregarding orders and flying by no rules but his own, and never misses an oportunity to chastise him when his antics land him in hot water; on the other hand, Michael is the one who inspires him to learn to think outside the box and start flying outside the lines.

As for the drawing, I'm happy with it. The finish is a bit off, as this and Draco 4's plane came out darker than 1 and 2's and I had some perspective issues resulting in the decal spacing on the main body being a bit off. Other than that, not much to say... peanuts :)

That is all, my dears, dismissed :salute:

Stay awesome, DA ;D
